The definition of Compersion (via Wikipedia):

“Compersion is a state of empathetic happiness and joy experienced when an individual’s current or former romantic partner experiences happiness and joy through an outside source, including, but not limited to, another romantic interest. This can be experienced as any form of erotic or emotional empathy, depending on the person experiencing the emotion.”

Example: “When Leila’s boyfriend Tom mentioned how excited he was to go on a first date with his spinning instructor, she was in a happy state of compersion.  Leila was excited for Tom because she knew that he has been wildly attracted to him for a long time!”

Adj. – characterized by lust or desire, to cause lust, having restless longing

Example: “Why Sophie, ever since I saw that sexy man do a striptease at my friend’s bachelorette party, I’ve been having seriously prurient thoughts!”
